Amy grew up Prince George, BC where she completed a diploma with honours in Kinesiology (2017) before pursuing her Physiotherapy degree at Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester, England (2022). Prior to her career in Physiotherapy, Amy worked as a personal trainer which kickstarted her love of exercise prescription and promoting a healthy lifestyle amongst the general population. As a new Physiotherapy graduate, she has an array of experience treating children with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as experience working in private practice orthopedics and with varsity athletes. She has a strong belief for evidence-based practice and patient-centred care consisting of manual therapy, exercise prescription, meaningful goal setting and education. Outside of the clinic, Amy lives a healthy active lifestyle through strength training, outdoor recreational pursuits and exploring her new home in West Kelowna. When she’s not being active, you can find her watching webinars on the Physio network and spending time with her friends and family.
